Mismaloya is a charming little seaside town just next door to the wedding venue, only about 13 km, or a quick 15-minute drive, south of downtown Puerto Vallarta, making it the perfect balance of ease and escape.

Nestled in a lush cove overlooking the iconic Los Arcos marine park, it offers soft golden sands, turquoise waters, and a backdrop of verdant mountains: ideal for snorkeling, beachside lounging, or strolling to cozy, family‑run restaurants and bars.

The town has a relaxed, friendly vibe (“sleepy fishing village” turned “lively but low‑key resort area”) with none of the bustle of downtown, yet access to an Oxxo store, small market, and regular buses/Ubers when you want to venture out.

We recommend staying at Hotel Barceló, an all‑inclusive oasis right on Mismaloya Beach —just steps from the venue— with lush tropical grounds, beachfront pools, multiple restaurants, and premium amenities that give you comfort, convenience, and beautiful views, all while keeping you steps from the wedding magic.

We will be providing a bus from the wedding venue at the end of the wedding from Villa Mandarinas to Mismaloya and Downtown Puerto Vallarta (Zona Romantica).
